Paper Abstract:      We propose an integrated framework that can unify four different learning settings (classroom, lab, library and field) by utilizing mobile devices and Virtual Worlds. Integrating Virtual Worlds (VWs) into the m-learning process may provide spatiotemporal continuity (while the actual learner moves according to real-world exigencies, the corresponding avatar's behavior follows educational demands). Two learning scenarios (one applying to classroom-based learning and the other one to vocational learning) are being described as possible working examples of this approach towards m-learning, as well as suggestions about the pedagogy of this combination and the accompanying technology that supports it.
