Paper Abstract:      Optimum Shop Floor Scheduling always remained the most valued pursuit of large shop floors’ Managers. All the shop floor managers strongly endorse that incorporation of optimization in the scheduling process will not only guarantee the minimal cost but a considerable time reduction in overall production schedule. Computer Scientists have not realized the importance of Shop Floor Scheduling as much as it should be. This paper is an effort for the aforesaid problem to present the complete solution for shop floor scheduling to ease the job of production managers. The paper provides the complete solution for parts scheduling, optimum route selection and rescheduling the already scheduled parts to accommodate high priority jobs. The hybrid approach presented in this paper is mainly based on Fuzzy Logic and Knowledge Based System.
