Paper Abstract:      The aim of this study is to develop an automated system to control factors that affect the productivity of birds, such as temperature, moisture and gases through the use of sensors and actuators to the environment. The experiment was conducted from 22 to 26 november 2010, in the premises of the Faculty of Animal Science and Food Engineering, where the first experiment was conducted in an experimental poultry house of 25 m2, with the entire structure prepared for the reception of the birds. In this structure was tested a design and sensors that store the data from environment. After the achievements of the early experiments can see the efficiency of the software developed and the great flexibility of the ZigBee protocol. Thus, can conclude that the management system could manage the sensor nodes distributed in the environment through the wireless network successfully.
