Paper Abstract:
|
This study utilizes a systematic literature review to explore empirical studies focused on innovations embedded in digital textbooks. These revolutionary innovations take many forms and have the potential to enhance student engagement and learning. Accessibility and affordability of digital texts serve to meet many student needs, however, the empirical study of such digital text use with innovations, lags compared to the construction of digital text advancements. Faculty hesitation for digital text use may be due to inexperience and lack of professional development. |
