Paper Abstract:
|
In the rapidly evolving digital landscape, artificial intelligence (AI) is fundamentally redefining English for Specific Purposes (ESP) education across disciplines such as Political Studies, International Relations, Sociology, and Psychology. This paper explores how AI-powered tools enhance personalized, immersive, and authentic learning experiences, fostering core linguistic and intercultural skills. Drawing on my extensive experience as a visiting professor at the University of Naples "Federico II" and Vlora University, I analyze pedagogical strategies, ethical
challengesincluding GDPR compliance and the EU AI Actand the influence of digital sovereignty. This comprehensive discussion aims to provide strategic pathways for responsible and effective AI integration into ESP curricula, emphasizing the importance of preparing students for the demands of an interconnected, multicultural professional environment. |
