Paper Abstract:      Mobile access to existing learning content available on the web is still limited due to mobile device constrains and variation of supported standards. Developing device specific content is possible but has limited scope. Mobile browsers solve this problem by adapting the standard content. But in mobile learning context, browsers are usually not equipped to deal with a script language to support online and offline interactions and making mobile browser an open standardized tool is also a challenge. In this paper, we propose Adapted Navigation Model suitable for an adaptive display method that will keep a consistent navigational structure. The aim is to integrate the proposed model into existing device-independent architecture for mobile learning and extend it further to support offline mobile learning for existing old smart phones.
