Paper Abstract:      The use of collaborative work projects to organize and support a course curriculum, i.e. the pedagogy of projects, is tied to the idea of teaching/learning a holistic and relational knowledge. This modality of knowledge articulation for the teaching/learning activity considers that for a better student understanding the curricular knowledge should not be presented in a rigid form, nor should it be rigidly tied to some predefined discipline references, nor should it be prepared considering a homogeneous student profile. Allowing the student to construct his own knowledge, a collaborative project favors strategies for content organization built upon information technologies that support interaction of different contents and transformation of information from different areas to build an integrated knowledge. This paper approaches the pedagogy of projects as a way to transform the school into an open space for the construction of significant knowledge for all those participating in a project. In this context, the use of Internet, by means of collaborative learning environments, such as webquest, the one presented in this paper, is an effective way to assist the construction of knowledge, abilities and values for students of today.
