Paper Abstract:

Moving objects database applications that store moving objects information in spatial and temporal (spatio-temporal)
domain have many usage areas in todays world. One of them is tracking moving objects, for example vehicles, on a
digital map is getting popular in mobile and space applications. The goal of this work is implementation of this kind of
application which is also known as spatiotemporal application. In this paper, moving objects are simulated in Java, stored
them in a spatial database, and visualized them on a digital map. Furthermore, we extended query capabilities by
implementing a data cartridge. |
