Paper Abstract:      Statistical data obtained from studies conducted at the University Autónoma Metropolitana Azcapotzalco, between 2002 and 2005 indicated the urgent need to offer online courses in the Division de Ciencias Básicas e Ingeniería. The proposal was to use the Moodle platform, considering that this is designed for students to work and learn without being in constant contact with the teacher. The proposed administrative section courses in the Division's Coordinación del Sistema de Aprendizaje Individualizado, which aims to prepare the student through personalized advice. Virtual courses are very similar to distance learning, however, unlike the latter, the student must repeatedly with the teacher, to register and obtain a work material, tutorials and assessments. This paper describes how to operate these courses.
