Paper Abstract:      Conventional web based learning environments offer the same content to each user. Nowadays, these kinds of learning environments are gradually replaced by individualized adaptive learning environments. Therefore, many researchers work on the development of individualized learning environments instead of the systems which offer the same content to each user. In this study, an adaptive and intelligent web based system constituted to teach mathematics was designed and developed. Learning styles were based on the system named as UZWEBMAT. Based on Visual-Auditory-Kinesthetic (VAK) learning style, different contents prepared according to these three styles were offered to the students. While the content in each learning style is offered to the student, solution supports students will get for activities and the route students will follow in the system were determined by expert system support. With this study, the structure and architecture of UZWEBMAT system will be introduced. In future studies, experimental studies will be conducted with the developed UZWEBMAT. Hereby, UZWEBMAT will be evaluated according to different parameters such as practicability and its effect on academic achievements of students.
