Paper Abstract:      Given the popularity of tablets such as iPad researchers have started discussing their potential uses in teaching and learning. The purpose of this paper is to report the experiences of using the iPad to support online and blended classroom teaching activities. Practical uses of key iPad’s applications to support teaching activities in these two settings are discussed. The paper showed that when applications are carefully selected to meet specific teaching purposes, they can enhance the teaching and learning experience either online or in the classroom.
