Paper Abstract:      This paper discusses the usability of the collaboration tools used in an experiment conducted in a virtual environment. The two tools discussed are both designed for collaborative purposes; one tool is software that integrates many collaborative functions; the other is a tool that assists in visualization and conferencing. The experiment changed models for usability during the three phases of the project, and this paper discusses the usability challenges that encouraged those changes.
