Paper Abstract:      An important issue for the establishment of Web service relationships is the trust among the services. This suggests that the services should have guarantees that the received data have been sent by trusted sources. Some solutions have been proposed in both academia and industry to deal with this issue. Particularly, a consortium has developed the Web Services Trust Language (WS-Trust) standard, which defines a trust model for Web services. However, trust is one aspect in a set of aspects involved in Web service security. Based on this fact, the goal of this paper is to propose a trust management approach for Web services. The approach integrates WS-Trust with standards for Web service policy and ontology. It supports the establishment of trust among Web services without restricting service relationships. The main contribution of this paper is an integrated trust and policy approach based on ontology
