Paper Abstract:      This paper describes the development of the new technique for learning elementary arithmetic notions, based on transcutaneous stimulation of the visual analyzer of participants. The non-transparent eyeglasses with the electrodes mounted on frame of spectacles were connected with electro-tactile unit and experimental software to provide creative and efficient supplementary help in memorizing eight math numbers and five arithmetic operators. Math notions were encoded by means of phosphene sensations provided through electro-tactile unit and having adjusted perceptual parameters such as the structure, polarity, luminosity, and duration. The analysis of the results, collected from eight subjects, revealed significant novice-to-expert transition. We assume that implemented technique is sufficiently robust to be used in future for communicating mathematics content on desktop and mobile devices.
