Paper Abstract:      In this paper, the results of a study conducted to assess the impact on student performance and perceptions, of different types of technology access in a senior level undergraduate Distributed Computing information systems course, are presented. The results indicate that students in a “smart e-classroom” perceived better support for the acquisition of team-building and analytical skills than those in a traditional computer lab classroom and that they also achieved somewhat higher performance on grades.
