Paper Abstract:      Identifying key product features which dominate households’ energy choosing process can promote the utilization of solar energy. In this paper, an agent-based model is built to simulate the households’ choosing process among multi-energy. Impact factors of households’ energy adoption behavior are selected from questionnaire survey. Varies solar energy product features are simulated. The key product features and their effects are learning from random forest and partial dependence plots. Results show that purchase price and convenience of using are the key features which attract share of solar energy in residential consumer market mostly. For manufactures of solar energy product, the promotion strategies should be made with consideration of the key product features. More convenience of using brings better utilization of solar energy. For purchase price, the situation is complex and needs more detailed plan.
