Paper Abstract:

The home is now a major part in the growth of the Internet and the systems that are installed in homes in future will be critical to the growth of the Internet. However the current systems that are used are far from perfect; being developed mainly for office and industrial uses with no regard for the types of activity that take place in the home. This paper investigates the changes that can be brought about to improve the provision of systems that will make the Internet useful for home users in the future. |
