Paper Abstract:      The reciprocal proportion of precision and recall is an ever present problem of information retrieval process and all search engines have still been trying to get as best ratio as possible. Information specialists still put most effort into developing highly sophisticated retrieval technology. No matter how sophisticated they are, user requirements are still much higher then an information system can fulfill. Such systems can never analyze the degree of exhaustivity of particular topic nor follow multi-faceted human thinking. When creating any interface, it is necessary to focus on to end users and let them create their own indexing language. A new trend in user interfaces design – implementation of folksonomies – can be used as a possible solution to this problem. This paper explains the reasons and proposes the use of tagging and sharing tags within a private space of bibliographical databases or interfaces of multisearch engines, in particular shown upon an interface of Uniform Resource Gateway [Jednotna informacni brana] – MetaLib based project of the National Library of the Czech Republic and the Charles University in Prague.
