Paper Abstract:
|
This paper deals with the facilitation of synchronous communication processes in collaborative learning scenarios.
Starting with a view on related work the CSCL-system KOLUMBUS and especially its functionalities for facilitation
support are introduced. To achieve empirical findings a study was conducted and is presented in the second part of this
paper. Based on this study a framework for the support of facilitation of synchronous discussions in CSCL-systems is
developed that contributes to the design of future CSCL-systems. |
