Paper Abstract:      This research aimed to establish and study the radio broadcasting around 15 kilometers of the radio station for education and research of the Department of Educational Communications and Technology, which has transmitted on FM 101.25 MHz with 1000- watts and on the internet from E-Broadcast Website, including evaluation of the quality of the radio station, and the audiences’ satisfaction on the radio broadcasting. The samplers were 400 audiences, who were teachers, students, officials, and staff of King Mongkut’s University of Technology Thonburi chosen from accidental sampling method. The research tools were the radio station for education and research, the records of broadcasting signal strength, the assessment forms of the radio station’s quality, and the assessment forms of audiences’ satisfaction on the radio broadcasting. The statistics for analysis of this research was the mean and the standard deviation. The research results were as follows: 1) The result of the radio station’s quality assessment was at an “excellent” criterion (X= 4.50)., 2) The audiences could listen to the clearest sound of the radio broadcasting around 0 to 3 kilometers, clear sound with a little noise around 5 kilometers, nearly clear sound with noise around 10 kilometers, and unclear sound with full of noise around 15 kilometers in the north, south, east, and west., and 3) The result of the audiences’ satisfaction on the radio broadcasting assessment was at a “greatest” level (X= 4.78).
