Paper Abstract:
|
IT-auditors are used to use formal models as bases for their assessment of IT-project management. From our experiment
there are clear indications that behavioral aspects that are not covered by those formal models are also
considered. More specifically we found that behavioral aspects of project management and the behavior of
auditee and/or contractor influence the outcome of this project audit. Behavioral aspects are noticed and
valued by the auditors in our experiment. However, the way the individual auditors value these aspects varies
considerably. It seems that IT-auditors disagree on the effects of these soft controls. |
