Paper Abstract:      Since 2006, a new LMS platform – Moodle – is available at ISCAC. All the implementation process, the meetings, teachers training, courses available were, at the very beginning, very difficult to implement. After a year, the balance can be considered as positive: now there are new challenges to Moodle and this platform is considered strategic for an important group of students in a life-long learning perspective. However, the obstacles almost dictated that the project would never be more than a paper version. This paper is a reflection about all the difficulties, challenges, changes’ acceptance in a large learning community and the way that these drawbacks usually lead to unsuccessful projects.
