Paper Abstract:      Nowadays, one of the ways to reduce medical care costs is to reduce the length of patients hospitalization and reinforce home sanitary support by formal (professionals) and non formal (family) caregivers. The aim is to design and operate a scalable and secured collaborative platform to handle specific tools for patients, their families and doctors. Videoconferencing tools are one way to help elderly people to have relationships with their family or caregivers. But it is also possible to use the same tool to remote control a robot acting as companion.
