Paper Abstract:      This work aims at presenting the teaching and e-Assessment framework underlying the Master’s degree course of Educational Software Evaluation (ESE), 2006/07 edition. The teaching and e-Assessment practices are described and analysed taking into account the current thinking regarding teaching and e-Assessment in Higher Education and mobile learning. First, we will present the underlying principles of the course, as well as to what extend e-Assessment is embedded in the teaching process in the EES course. We will also reflect upon the constraints and potentialities of the strategies and tools used. Some of the problems identified have to do with the difficulty in assessing the students’ individual performance online (due, in part, to difficulties to access students interactions, when different types of technologies are explored, LMS, blogs, MSN, Skype, …) and the workload implied. Finally, suggestions for future research are put forward.
