Paper Abstract:      Mobile Collaborative Learning Games combine all the ingredients necessary to attract students’ attention and engage them in learning activities. However, designing a coherent scenario that combines mobility, game mechanics and collaborative learning is quite a challenge. In this article, we take the first step by proposing several game patterns that naturally integrate these mechanics in order to support educational goals. We also discuss ways to support teachers design these applications and adapt them to their course material and specific learning situations. Finally, we identify the technical challenges linked to the deployment of these applications such as connectivity between mobile devices, geolocation, real time adaptation of scenarios by teachers and the use of data collected on the field as course material
