Paper Abstract:
|
For many students, the mobile phone is an essential tool in everyday communication. Mobile phones are used not only for talking but also for sending text messages. Students even use them for larger writing projects such as novels and essays. This study compares sentences produced by the mobile phone with those produced by the computer and examines the differences between them. This paper presents the results of our preliminary investigation. The results show that sentences produced by the mobile phone have features similar to those produced by the computer, although the former are marginally shorter. |
