Paper Abstract:      DNS-based request redirection is used for CDN. If the CDN configuration is dynamically changed, a DNS record corresponding to the CDN must be updated, and should be propagated to the world as quick as possible, so that requests from clients are redirected properly according to the new configuration. This paper presents some observation on the fraction of requests which are not correctly redirected under dynamic update of DNS records found in our project, and also some consideration on its influence to the design of dynamic CDNs.
