Paper Abstract:
|
This paper presents an AI-powered tourist assistant framework, designed to enhance cultural immersion by providing real-time, context-aware guidance. Leveraging large language models (LLMs), geolocation services, and multimodal inputs (text, voice, and documents), the system delivers personalized insights into historical landmarks, traditions, and local customs. Built with FastAPI, it integrates Gemini for natural language processing, Whisper for speech-to-text, and geospatial APIs like Foursquare for location-based recommendations, offering a dynamic and interactive travel experience. By bridging language and knowledge gaps, this AI assistant transforms how tourists engage with cultural heritage. The work demonstrates the potential of intelligent systems to enrich global travel, making cultural exploration more accessible and immersive. Its findings pave the way for future advancements in AI-driven tourism solutions. |
