Paper Abstract:      This paper is focused to maximize the energy efficiency of the whole network in USN. The study is about energy consumption algorithm especially applied to USN with cluster tree topology. Generally, the sensor network with cluster tree topology is divided into two stages: Firstly, an initialization stage to construct cluster and secondly, an operating stage to transmit collected data. The sensor network with cluster tree topology is repeating itself the cycle of the stages. The energy consumption in sensor node is made at both the first and second stages. The paper is focused on an algorithm to minimize the energy level consumed at the first initialization stage. The initialization stage is again divided into cluster construction stage, cluster head selection stage and stage of route set-up to sink. The study of algorithm for cluster construction has been done before and d-hop algorithm is known relatively distinctive. This paper is going to suggest an improved algorithm to minimize the energy consumption applying to a LEACH algorithm.
