Paper Abstract:      We are developing pervasive learning environment which allows the learning sessions and materials to be accessed anywhere, anytime and on-demand. Adhoc network technology is used to enable anywhere access to the learning environment. To observe and verify the level of QoS a mobile learner perceived when traversing several adhoc network nodes while running video streaming application, adhoc network testbed employing AODV routing algorithm is built. The number of nodes involved in the delivery is varied between two and five nodes. Parameters of the QoS used for the analysis are throughput, lost packet, delay and jitter. Three types of video format are used during the performance measurement, namely ASF, WMV and AVI. Our performance analysis shows that in adhoc network ASF and WMV formats are performed much better than AVI format. As for AVI format it is very difficult to maintain QoS when the number of adhoc network nodes exceeds three nodes, ASF and WMV video formats maintain fair QoS in this level.
