Paper Abstract:      We present on-going research along with preliminary conclusions from a project that studies the attitude of parents towards their adolescent children’s immersion into online activities and games. Utilizing a popular, online Virtual World (and other Internet-based tools) along with a variety of research methods and techniques in a parent-child setting for purposes related to internet-connected risks, we monitor parents’ attitudes and their evolution in a 6-month activity period.
