Paper Abstract:
|
The number of photographs that have been taken using digital cameras has increased on the Web. Many such photographs are taken by amateurs. However, some are of low quality in photograph assessment. Therefore, great demand exists for a technique for evaluating photographic quality to extract high-quality photographs from image search results and to present those photographs effectively. In this paper, we propose a rapid reranking method based on photographic quality assessment using photograph metadata. An advantage of the proposed approach is that it requires no image features or pixel data. To evaluate photographic quality, we use cameras that are used for taking photographs and Exif for evaluating photograph conditions. |
