Paper Abstract:      Nowadays distance learning methods have become not only an integral part of the educational process but of our everyday life as well. Various spheres of science and technology make use of remote or electronic learning means in different ways. Apparently every application field requires specific approaches and decisions with regard to remote learning usage. In this respect such technical trend as automated systems is not an exception. The study of automated systems usually includes the analysis of various remote laboratories and their technical realizations. At the same time much attention is also paid to the assessment of the quality of remotely received knowledge. Every realization of a remote learning method should be considered from the point of the quality of acquired competences. Effectiveness of knowledge represents a separate area and part of the virtual educational process, which requires research and analysis.
