Paper Abstract:      Mobile device provides high portability, information accessibility, and usability beyond the limitation of time and space. The use of eBook in education has many pros and cons, until now, there’s still no specific pedagogical approach for instructors to incorporate in their daily work. This study points out the importance of self-assessment mechanism for school administrative staff, instructors, technical support staff when implementing eBooks in educational settings, especially at k-12 level. A four-dimension comprehensive eBook implementation readiness guide is developed in this study. The purpose of the readiness guide is for the institutions to self-diagnose the preparation level in the process of introducing eBooks.
