Paper Abstract:      The importance of organizing and storing data in such a way that it is accessible and manageable is of utmost importance in various research projects. As progress is achieved and the research project(s) evolve, progress must also be made in the methods and types of data in the data repository to accommodate the ever progressing (and, possibly, expanding) research. As such, there will also be points in the ever-progressing research that the results achieved in the research itself become some sort of feedback and a kind of new data for the repository. In this paper we discussed the collaborative nature of data repository and human heart modeling, focusing on the proposed development of such data repository to be used by the Virtual Heart Project Research Team at the University of Malaya, Malaysia. We also discussed the possible impact collaborations between certain disciplines and/or expertise might bring to the project (of modeling the human heart).
