Paper Abstract:      This study examines how various factors related to online instruction affect students’ perceptions of learning and satisfaction in an online MBA program. The nine factors considered are course content, course structure, lecture delivery, professor-student interaction, student-student interaction, instructor support and mentoring, flexibility and convenience, assessment of student performance, and technology. Based on previous research, we develop multiple scale items to measure each factor. We survey MBA students at a private university in the northeastern U.S. to explore empirically the relationship between these factors and outcome measures of perceived learning and student satisfaction.
