Paper Abstract:      The recent context of development of distance learning renews several aspects related to this field such as teaching methods, teacher-learner relation, learners role, pedagogical content design, etc. It is in this direction that our research work is oriented. Indeed, we investigate the process of teaching in order to design a system intended for teachers which will guide and assist them during their tasks of designing pedagogical content. In this work, the emphasis is put on teacher activities during the achievement of such tasks. In the first part of this article, we present a short synthesis of e-learning content standards, and then we describe our research orientations and methodology
