Paper Abstract:
|
The project pARTicipa 22@ has been conceived as a field trial to promote and analyze novel forms of social interaction
by sharing personal contents through mobile phones during live events. For this purpose, several large screens were
displaced at different locations in the 22@ district of Barcelona, on the context of the festival Inside 22@, a local event of
contemporary music and visual arts. The spectators could interact with a graphic application by sending SMS and MMS
with their commentaries, emotions or pictures. The people attitude towards this new form of interaction was largely
positive, resulting in a good participation to the field trial as confirmed by interviews and analysis of historical data. |
