Paper Abstract:      In this paper, two parallel iterative algorithms for solving the Inverse Additive Singular Value Problem (IASVP) are proposed. The first one, denoted Lift and Project algorithm, is based on the use derivatives, formulating the IASVP like a problem of least squares. The second, based on Genetic Algorithms, is obtained when formulating the IASVP like a problem of optimization. They both are globally convergent. Numerical experiments are given to illustrate their behavior.
