Paper Abstract:
|
This paper briefly describes an originally developed parser for the W3C ontology format OWL Lite based on XML, its data representation that extends commonly used graph data type, and a special algorithm for visualization of wide ontologies that makes full usage of the knowledge of their structure. All these parts are demonstrated in the .NET application that also allows confrontation of the designed visualization algorithm to some standard graph visualization algorithms. This specialized algorithm was conceived as a base for development of a general graph visualization algorithm that will reflect any specific knowledge about the structure of a general graph. |
