Paper Abstract:      The increase of public interest in wireless communication results in a significant number of requests being blocked, which generates the retrial attempts. This paper studies the Markovian retrial queue with reneging by considering the limited space in orbit. The expressions for various performance measures such as the system state probabilities, number of customers in orbit, the expected waiting time in the queue and the expected waiting time in system, etc are obtained. Some special cases are also discussed. Numerical results are obtained to facilitate the comparison of the corresponding model with infinite orbit capacity and without reneging.
