Paper Abstract:      This paper introduce a new speech recognition testing approach using a robust speech steganography system. This approach will evaluate the impact of the stego-speech on the speech recognition accuracy. We target two objectives: evaluate the robustness of our FFT-based steganography system under a new steganalysis method, and test the speech recognizer performance for a novel database of speech files. Informal testing experiments using a combination of the CMU Sphinx-4 and the FFT-based steganography system has been conducted. We have adopted the word accuracy, word error rate and the perceptual evaluation of speech quality as performance measures. The informal tests have shown that our FFT-Based steganography technique is robust against the detection attempts of the Sphinx- 4 recognition system.
