Paper Abstract:      Current Greek vocational practice is facing pressures from an increasingly demanding European environment; the Greek ministry of education has recently made the decision to embrace e-learning in order to revise and transform traditional vocational teaching and learning models and practices. E-learning open technologies promise to deliver to our students across the country and abroad, highly structured and interactive rich media content with strong pedagogical characteristics. While e-learning presents numerous opportunities to support learning, creating an e-learning experience involves a serious commitment to understanding its different features, the ways it can be used most advantageously to impact learning and its pedagogical dimension.
