Paper Abstract:
|
A neighboring search is a Web retrieval technique based on Web link information, designed to exploit user's knowledge and intuition. However, collecting Web link information on the client side requires much time. Moreover, no studies focused on effective techniques for visualizing the retrieval results of neighboring searches. To solve these problems, we developed a Web retrieval system with a technique of visualizing retrieval results as a client system of a cooperative Web architecture that enables collecting and maintaining the Web link information on the server side. Experimental results show that our method is effective. |
