Paper Abstract:
|
In this article we analyse the responsibility of agents in organizations. We argue that organizational structures should be
analysed along three dimensions: integrality of tasks, power to executes tasks, and information to make decisions. The
main aim of this study is to provide a formal analysis of individual responsibilities. We will show how these dimensions
determine the responsibilities in an organization, and how a change in paradigm from Taylorism to Socio-Technical
Systems Design strongly influences processes of responsibilities. |
