Paper Abstract:	The article deals with raster binary images and presents new algorithms for computation of Minkowski operations. The new terms as discrete roof function and discrete generalized medial axis transform are defined and used to compute the Minkowski sum and Minkowski difference. The new methods has been implemented in Java and the actual performance has been measured and compared with the usual algorithms.
