Paper Abstract:      This paper describes the course of action and first results of an actual research project funded by the European Union with the theme new possibilities through mobile learning. At the core of the research project stands the changed media use conduct of the consortium and the new possibilities resulting from this in the interaction, which can be utilized for game-based learning. Especially the cellular telephone technology, with the characteristic of the personal closeness and emotionality to the user, produces the basis for triggering such social interaction. The present paper describes the demands, prevailing educational conditions and a systematic structure for the response to the question for a suitable system, which enables the transfer of different learning areas into mobile games cost-effectively and quickly.
