Paper Abstract:      The eye-head coordination is a physiological behavior specific to each individual. This behavior is of high interest for the design of ophthalmic lenses. In this study, the natural eye-head behavior of subjects has been measured in reality and in a similar situation reproduced in a virtual reality ophthalmic lens simulator. Similar behavior has been measured in both situations: the natural behavior of people about their visual strategy is not disturbed by virtual reality, thus, validating the full potential of virtual reality as a new and complementary method of behavioral measurement in our simulator.
