Paper Abstract:      This paper describes a solution for geographic data sharing between different Geographic Information Systems (GIS). One of the biggest limitations to the large use of geographic features is the high cost of the process to obtain the data. A way to reduce the costs of acquisition of geographic data, and to prevent the redundancy of efforts, is the exchange of information between institutions. To the exchange of information between institutions to be efficient is necessary to know the available data, and adhere to some standard, like Geography Markup Language (GML). Conceptual object-oriented models designed with GeoFrameT are translated to GML, in a automatic way, and publicized in the Internet, allowing others institutions to search them for interesting data.
