Paper Abstract:
|
The portal Learning Tolerance is a web-based project that supports initiatives promoting tolerance. This portal collects and distributes knowledge and experiences gained from social projects and inter-cultural studies. The project was developed as part of the research and development programlearning culture and competence development of the German ministry of education. An online course on intercultural communication is offered through the Learning Tolerance portal. The scope of this course is to increase cultural awareness and help the participants develop the ability to deal with such differences professionally. The course will be evaluated by online surveys and interviews about acceptance and intercultural awareness |
